MICHELLE OBAMA Financial Info HACKED

Michelle Obama is the latest hacking victim in what has become an alarming breach of security.

The website that has disclosed detailed financial information about celebs like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian has now upped its game, revealing very personal financial info about the First Lady.

The website has posted Michelle’s credit report, which includes her social security number, phone numbers, banking and mortgage info and credit card details.

The website also hacked into Joe Biden’s history, but the info the hackers were able to obtain was extremely limited. They obtained much more in Michelle’s case.

When you click on Michelle’s name on the website, it reveals this comment: “Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle.” So this could be more than sport … maybe this is a clue the hackers have beef with Barack.

Man indicted in El Paso for allegedly threatening to shoot President Obama

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — A federal grand jury in West Texas has indicted a 20-year-old man who allegedly threatened to shoot President Barack Obama during his inauguration.

The El Paso Times (http://bit.ly/Y7RHyD ) reported Tuesday that William Mose Tucker of El Paso remains in custody without bond. His next court date is March 28.

An attorney for Tucker seeks bond — saying his client doesn’t own any weapons or ammunition and there’s no evidence he planned to carry out the alleged threat.

Documents show Tucker last September told someone he planned to shoot Obama. Tucker was indicted Jan. 16 on a charge of making a threat against the president. He was arrested four days later in in Lawton, Okla., while selling magazines. Obama’s inauguration was the next day.

Maine Town Rejects Mandatory Gun Ownership

Residents of a small western Maine town have rejected a proposal that would have required a gun in every home.

About 50 registered voters in Byron on Monday voted against an article that read: “Shall the town of Byron vote to require all households to have firearms and ammunitions to protect the citizens?”

Even Anne Simmons-Edmunds, head of the select board, who initially supported the measure, says she voted it down. The measure was proposed by her father, Bruce Simmons. He voted it down too, saying the wording was wrong. He says it should have read “recommend’ rather than “require.”

Some of the town’s roughly 140 residents say the proposal made the town a laughingstock. Randy Richards says he’s a gun owner, but resented the proposal because it was government overreach.

Official: Hagel Orders Review Of New Cyber Medal

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has ordered a review of a new medal for troops who operate drones and use other technological skills to fight America’s wars from afar.

The official says Hagel is responding to concerns from lawmakers and veterans. They complained that the new Distinguished Warfare Medal can be awarded to troops who serve far from the battlefield – yet it has been ranked above medals for those who served on the front line in harm’s way.

Sequestration prompts IRS to cut reward for whistleblowers who turn in tax cheats

Whistleblowers now have one less reason for turning in someone they suspect of not paying their taxes. Actually, they now have 8.7 percent less reasons.

The Internal Revenue Service announced budget cuts caused by sequestration will lower the amount paid to those who turn in corporations or individuals who are suspected of not paying their taxes. Those who turn in tax cheats are eligible for up to 30 percent of the recovered amount, including the amount of the back taxes, fees and penalties.

Now, because of the across-the-board cuts from sequestration, the IRS announced each award will be lowered by 8.7 percent. If Congress doesn’t do something to end sequestration, the reduced amount will stay in place through the end of the year.

…….

The refundable portion of the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit that’s given to certain small tax-exempt employers will also be reduced by 8.7 percent. The tax credit is designed to help small businesses cover the cost of employee health insurance.

Paul Ryan Unveils GOP Budget Plan

Paul Ryan Unveils GOP Budget Plan

Paul Ryan unveiled the GOP’s budget for 2013, and it looks very familiar. Like last year’s GOP blueprint, the budget would defund Obamacare, turn Medicare into a voucher-like program, and cut spending to social programs like Medicaid. Unlike past versions of the GOP budget, this year’s plan would produce a small surplus by 2023, but those gains mostly come from the tax increase pushed through as part of the fiscal-cliff deal. Senate Democrats are working on an opposing plan that they say would raise $1 trillion in new taxes and cut $1 trillion in spending over the next 10 years but would not balance the budget.
